16 Layer 400GB Optical Disc From Pioneer in 2010

This is not new advertise, in fact, had already commented back in the summer. The novelty is that now Pioneer has given its “road map” (now everyone has one of these) for its new storage system. 16 Layer 400GB Optical Disc From Pioneer, it’s 8x the storage on a double-layer Blu-Ray disc.

The super multi-layer technology development is read-only (ROM) discs will be available between 2008-2010, while its equivalent rewritable be on the market for the 2010-2012. Finally, Pioneer also expects to draw a disc with 1TB (1,000GB) of capacity by 2013. I just say that to know where all this will be the HD back in 2013.
