Meet the Seagate 500GB wireless hard drive, the company has recently official introduced its storage device ahead of CES 2015. According to Seagate, this wireless storage is designed for streaming and offloading media from your mobile devices.
The 500GB Seagate Wireless Mobile Storage STDC500306 is built-in power supply alongside Wi-Fi connectivity to stream and share your favorite content without cord. It can connect up to three WiFi-enabled devices simultaneously. Its battery will enough give a power supply for up to 9 hours of usage.
Besides the ability to store multimedia files (photos and videos), the device is enabling to stream HD video content. That’s supported by Seagate Media app, which is compatible with Apple iOS, Android, Kindle Fire HD, and Windows 8 tablets. Moreover, users can using Apple Airplay, Chromecast and Roku to playback the content on big screen.
Seagate will offer it in five bright color options – cool blue, lime green, slate gray, fire-engine red, and white. The new 500GB Seagate wireless hard drive would be arrive on market sometime in this month for cost $129.99.
