A-DATA N002 Combo Flash Drive uses USB 3.0 and SATA II

Taiwanese company, A-DATA Technology has released a flash-based storage solution (solid state drive/SSD), namely N002, which is equipped with a USB 3.0 (5 Gbps) and SATA II (3.0 Gbps) connectivity. It is designed to increase the speed of data transmission.

A-DATA N002 dual interface flash drive is using 8-channel architecture, which is increases the speed of data transmission has increased 10 times, as compared with conventional flash-drive with USB 2.0 interface. It delivers up to 200 MB/s in read and up to 170 MB/s in write mode.

The A-DATA N002 will be released on the market by January 2010. A-Data N002 Flash Drive is also backward compatible with the USB 2.0 port. The A-DATA N002 SSD is available in capacities 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. According to manufacture, A-DATA N002 drive is ideal for those users who want to have store large amounts of capacity with high speed data transmission on dual interface; USB 3.0 and SATA II.

A-DATA N002 is bundled with A-DATA UFDtoGO and Norton Internet Security 2010 (60-day trial version) to enhance mobility and security of A-DATA N002.
