Next month, Acer will be launching to market two notebooks which based on AMD Turion Ultra II. They are Acer Aspire 7540 and Acer Aspire 5542 notebooks, the first with a 17.3-inch screen and the second with 15.6-inch screen.
Both AMD’s Tigris mobile platform notebooks have the LCD high definition with CineCrystal Acer technology, 16:9 aspect ratio, perfect for watching movies either on DVD or Blu-Ray readers trying optimized. It also has 8ms response time, being suitable for games or movies without the refreshment in real time.
Acer Aspire 7540 and Aspire 5542 are powered by a Turion II processor, 640GB hard drive, up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, a DVD writer or Blu-Ray drive and either integrated or dedicated (Mobility Radeon HD 4570) GPU.
The Acer Aspire 7540 and 5542 has brings a HDMI output, a multi-gesture touchpad, Gigabit Ethernet and WiFi. Its battery is provides up to 2.5 hours. Both Acer’s AMD-powered notebooks are pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium. Acer Aspire 7540 and 5542 will debut in market on October 22nd and its price is start from £450 (integrated graphics) and £500 (dedicated GPU).
