Acer has just introduced their latest ultimate entertainment machine at CES 2011, the Acer Aspire AS8950G-9839. The new Acer Aspire AS8950G notebook is offers some serious performances and starting cost at $1599.99.
The Acer Aspire AS8950G-9839 laptop is boasts an Intel Core i7-2630QM processor with Turbo Boost 2.0, 8GB of DDR3 dual-channel memory (upgradeable to 16GB), ATI Mobility Radeon 6850 graphics with 2GB of dedicated video memory, and 750GB SATA HDD with dual-hard drive support (up to 1.5TB of total).
New Acer AS8950G-9839 entertainment laptop is packs a 18.4-inch CineCrystal edge-to-edge glass LED back-lit display with full HD 1080p resolution, Blu-ray drive, Ethernet LAN, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, 1.3 megapixel webcam, and Dolby optimized Acer CineSurround sound system with five built-in speakers and a dedicated subwoofer.
There is dual-mode touchpad that offers switch between media console mode and multi-gesture mode.
