Acer is submitted to Russia’s market a home server, Aspire easyStore H340. Previous, it has announcement in May this year for US market.
Acer Aspire easyStore H340 is based on the Intel 945GC Express chipset and the 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor 230. In the server, it is runs Windows Home Server OS. It can be set up to 2GB of RAM DDR2.
Acer Aspire easyStore H340 is equipped with four bays for 3.5-inch hard drives for a total capacity of up to 6TB. Three bays are allowed to hot-swap installation and replacement of drives. In addition, the Acer Aspire easyStore H340 server is equipped with a network card, five USB 2.0 port, one of which is put on the front panel and can be used to quickly back up data from flash drives/external HDD, eSATA port and a PCI Express x4 slot. Dimensions of Acer Aspire easyStore H340 server are 208x195x177 mm.
