Acer has begun shipping its new ultra-thin laptop, namely Acer Aspire One 1551. The first detail is appeared in last month and the notebook used AMD Nile platform.

The Acer Aspire One 1551 is boasts a 1.5GHz AMD Turion II Neo K625 dual core processor, ATI Radeon HD 4225 graphics accelerator, and a 11.6-inch LED-backlit display with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Acer 1551 is equipped with 4GB of RAM, 320GB hard drive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet, a 1.3MP webcam, stereo speakers, a 5-in-1 card reader, and a 6-cell battery.

Size of Aspire One 1551 is 280 x 200 x 25-28 mm and weight 1.4 kg. It is pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

The Acer Aspire One 1551 netbook has cost of $549.99.
