Acer Aspire One 571 netbook with Vmedia “mini Blu-ray”
There is published information on the upcoming Acer Aspire One 571 netbook. It is equipped with 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It is not usual for netbook function is the Vmedia optical drive, it’s no DVD burner. It supports the 32 mm discs with capacity 1 GB. The drive is located on the left of touchpad. The first option will be set netbook drive, which it can only read discs with video content in the format of 720p, but then the company will release an updated version of Vmedia.
Acer Aspire One 571 netbook is based on Intel Atom N280 processor with a clock speed of 1.66 GHz and a multimedia co-processor Quartics Q1721. It allows you to encode and decode H.264 and other formats for HD video. Presumably, the remaining features of the new Acer netbook the same as that of the models D150 and D250; 1 GB RAM, 160/250 GB HDD, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. On the cost and timing of release of Acer Aspire One 571 still unaccounted for.
