Acer Aspire One Netbook with Google Android hits next month

October 5th, 2009 | Filed under Laptop 0 Comments

There is information that the Acer in the next month plans to start selling Acer Aspire One netbook with preloaded operating system, Google Android. Its prototype was presented at the Computex exhibition. As previously reported, the computer is designed so during boot, users will be offered a choice between Windows and Android.

Interestingly, despite recent rumors, according to Gizmodo to expect the same mass emergence of new products with the proposals, only the operating system from Google Chrome so far, probably not worth it, because the company originally reported that the Chrome OS is expected until the second half of next year. Companies such as Acer, Lenovo and MSI also announced the absence of such plans for the near future.

It is expected that the price of Acer Aspire One netbook running Google Android will not be above the existing 10-inch Acer Aspire One, which amounts to $350. Most likely the price of a new netbook will be in the range of $300-$350.
