Acer Aspire Revo 3600 nettop dual-core Atom 330

Acer, according to sources, in the near future plans to launch a new configuration of Aspire Revo nettop, performed on the basis of dual-core chip. Recall, Also Gateway QX2800 has brings dual-core Atom 330 processor.

The existing Acer Aspire Revo is equipped with Intel Atom 230 processor with a single core and a clock speed of 1.6 GHz, 2GB of RAM and 160GB hard disk. It is running on Windows Vista Premium or Basic OS.

The new version of Acer Aspire Revo will be called Aspire Revo 3600 nettop. This new nettop becomes an Intel Atom 330 dual-core processor, clocked at 1.6GHz and consumes no more than 8 watts of energy. The Acer Aspire Revo has brings nVidia Ion, including the GeForce 9400M GPU with support for DirectX 10 API.

Acer Aspire Revo 3600 will get 4GB of DDR2 RAM, 320GB or 500GB hard drive, an HDMI socket, VESA mount compatibility, as well as Wi-Fi. The Aspire Revo 3600 is expected to be shown at the IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung) exhibition 2009, which opens in Berlin on September 4.

There is no information availability and pricing of Acer Aspire Revo 3600.
