Acer AspireRevo: first Ion-based nettop PC

Acer, along with NVIDIA introduced the first nettop that uses long-awaited graphics system Ion. It will make nettop to solve simple tasks in very valuable desktop computers for the home. New AspireRevo given the name and can boast of enormous numbers of USB 2.0 ports (there are already 6 ports), HDMI-output and hardware support Full HD.

The official press release says about the compatibility of different graphic chip with the core of NVIDIA Ion GPU to handling 1080p (and thus, Blu-ray) content, DirectX 10 and demanding games such as Call of Duty 4 and Spore. New product will be running Windows Vista Home Premium / Basic and can be fitted with RAM up to 4GB and hard drives up to 250GB. Acer AspireRevo has processor at 1.6GHz Intel Atom 230 processor. It has a 4-in-1 card reader, audio in / out.
