Taiwan-based, Acer has just official announced their budget mobile phone in Russia, the Acer beTouch E140. Its existence has become known in late November 2010.

The Acer beTouch E140 smartphone has brings a 2.8-inch touchscreen TFT-LCD display with resolution of 320 x 240 pixels (QVGA), 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, FM tuner with RDS, microSD card reader (up to 32GB) and a 1300 mAh battery.

The Acer E140 budget smartphone is designed to work in GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA networks. It is powered by a 600MHz processor.

Acer beTouch E140 smartphone is runs Android 2.2 OS Froyo and social network integration (Facebook and Twitter), nemoPlayer, and Acer UrFooz, that allowing creating a virtually social network.

There is no word on pricing of Acer beTouch E140 but previously reported, the European model can be purchased for 199 euros.
