Just one day after we’ve posting about new 15.6-inch Chromebook with Core i5 chip, Acer has recently introduced it in the United States. The Acer C910 Chromebook has a faster processor option. It comes with an Intel Core i5-5200U Broadwell processor and a higher resolution 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 pixel display (with an anti-glare coating). Alongside Google’s cloud-centric platform, this machine is initially aimed at education environment, classrooms.
You’ll see it on stores sometime in April for price tag $499.99 (but it could be difference on other regions). That’s a pretty reasonable price considering the specs of the device, it is almost a half the price of the new Google Chromebook Pixel 2. The Acer C910 Chromebook 15 is still becoming one of the largest notebook on the market that running on Chrome OS. With new processor option, the laptop is also getting a new title, one of the most powerful Chrome OS notebook.
Acer Chromebook 15 laptop brings 4GB of RAM and a 32GB solid state drive. There are an SD card slot, and an internal battery (up to 8 hours of runtime). Its connectivity options are WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, as well as HDMI output. This laptop has dimensions of 15.4 x 10.1 x 1 inches and weighs about 4.85 pounds.
