After unveiled Chromebook 14 laptop, Acer has also launched a new all-in-one desktop PC that runs Chrome OS inside. It is dubbed the Acer Chromebase for Meetings, which becomes low-cost alternatives to their Windows counterparts. As designed for business, this little Chrome desktop look like low-cost alternatives to expensive video conferencing software.
It is manufactured by Google and its partners – Acer. This machine becomes the first Chromebase for Meetings. You will be able to pick one up for price of $799. However, the first year of management and support fees would normally cost $250.
In terms of specs, Acer Chromebase for Meetings has a 23.8-inch touchscreen display. This all-in-one desktop comes with an Intel processor, an adjustable HD camera, four microphones, and stereo speakers. New Chromebase packs Ethernet, HDMI, and USB ports on the back. There are also another USB port, a card reader, and an audio jack on the side. Depending on region, Acer Chromebase has a 1920 x 1080 pixel IPS display with 178 degree viewing angles.
