Spanish online store, Expansys has begun taking orders for Acer Liquid (Acer A1), the world’s first Android smartphone powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU. As the date of commencement of sales, at least in Spain, it is announced on November 28. Recall, Acer Liquid smartphone was previously known as A1, it is running an operating system, Android 1.6 and is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 1GHz. Announcement of Acer Liquid A1 smartphone is took about a week ago, but information about the characteristics of the device was incomplete. But it is now published on Expansys site, though, can hardly consider, it is an official source.
Acer Liquid A1phone is equipped with a 3.5-inch touchscreen and has no hardware keyboard. Also among its features are 5 megapixel autofocus camera, Bluetooth 2.0 EDR and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, GPS receiver, a slot for microSD memory card. Acer Liquid A1 smartphone is support for WCDMA/HSPA and GSM/GPRS/EDGE. Cost of Acer Liquid in Expansys is €379.99 without contract to any operator.
