Acer spokesperson is confirmed that their upcoming Android smartphone, the Acer Liquid Metal is real.

The new Acer handset will be launches in UK on the end of October 2010.

The Acer Liquid Metal is running on Android 2.2 Froyo OS and boasted by an 800 MHz Qualcomm processor (like the HTC T-Mobile G2).

New Acer Liquid Metal smartphone has feature a 3.6-inch WVGA multitouch screen, 512 MB of RAM, 512 MB of ROM, Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, and Dolby Mobile.

Cost of Acer Liquid Metal smartphone is still unknown yet.
