Acer has expand its phablet portfolio with releasing the Acer Liquid X1, at least in its homeland market. Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwanese major carrier, has taking order the smartphone and asking price of NT$7,990 (around $266 US) for sans-contract. At same time, company has confirmed to bring the Acer Liquid X1 phablet in other countries. But the exact release date hasn’t announce yet, hopefully, it will happen soon.
Just flashback, the Liquid X1 phone was officially introduced early June and offering a great deal considering its specs sheet. So, people who can’t afford to pay for higher phablets such as Galaxy Note 3, they can buy the great alternative device – Acer Liquid X1.
This phablet comes with a large 5.7-inch 720p IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display and a MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor coupled with a Mali-450MP4 graphics processing unit that makes its price is competitive.
Furthermore, the Liquid X1 has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and capable to using microSD card slot with up to 32GB of capacity support.
Another strong point of the phablet is LTE connectivity. On photography features, new Acer Liquid X1 provides a 13MP autofocus camera with LED flash and 1080p full HD video recording. For selfie lovers, there’s a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, which also suitable for video calls.
The mobile phone is powered by a high-capacity 2700mAh battery. However, no specific info on the usage times it can deliver has been provided for the time being. It runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system from one day.
