Already introduced during IFA 2016 in Berlin, Acer has officially released a pair of its new convertible notebooks. The Acer Spin 5 and Spin 7 are now available for purchase. These devices are coming in a 13.3-inch and 14-inch display, respectively.
Starting at $599, the new Acer Spin 5 convertible laptop is more affordable price. It brings a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Internally, the new notebook has an Intel Core i5-6200U Skylake processor that accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. But you can also pick up a lower specs version that sells just $500. This one boasts a Core i3 Skylake chip and 128GB of storage.
Next up! Acer Spin 7 is actually a much thinner notebook/tablet hybrid system. This machine measures just 0.43-inch thick and weighs 2.7 lbs. It is powered by an Intel Core i7-7Y75 Kaby Lake processor paired with 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of solid state drive (SSD) storage. The 14-inch IPS display of Acer Spin 7 convertible notebook is capable to delivering a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and also has a 360-degree hinge.
