Ainol Novo 7 Venus quad-core Android tablet with 7-inch IPS screen

Ainol is started selling its new 7-inch Android tablet, the Ainol Novo 7 Venus. Coming with plastic body, the tablet packs a 7-inch touchscreen IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It could be a pretty good low-cost alternative, which looks like the $199 Google Nexus 7 tablet but it’s cheaper.

Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, new Ainol Novo 7 Venus tablet boasts a quad-core ATM7029 ARM Cortex A9 processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It has 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a MicroSD card slot for expansion with support for up to 32GB in capacity.

The Novo 7 Venus Android tablet is equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, orientation sensor, a front-facing 0.3-megapixel camera and a 2MP camera on the back. In additional, there is a USB port and 3.5mm headphone jack. Its 4000 mAh battery is enough juice for 5 to 10 hours of usage. Weighing 320 g, dimensions of Ainol Novo 7 Venus are 186.2 x 126.9 x 10.8 mm.
