AIS RPDA37 Rugged Military PDA with Various Standards Protecting
AIS (American Industrial Systems), well-known as rugged portable device manufacturer, has introduced its newest ultra rugged military PDA, called AIS RPDA37. That rugged PDA is meets standards protecting from dust, water (up to 1m), and extreme conditions including MIL-STD-810F (Mil-Spec), MIL-STD-461F (Electromagnetic interference), IEEE 1613 (networking), IEC 60529 (protection – IP65), NEMA, and COTS (United States Department of Defense).
AIS RPDA37 ultra rugged PDA is boasts a 624MHz Marvell PXA270 processor, 256MB of RAM, and 256MB of ROM (up to 1GB). It has features a 3.7-inch transflective TFT LCD display with resolution of 480×640 pixel and 4-wire resistive touchpanel, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The optionally of AIS RPDA37 ultra rugged military PDA is GPS receiver, GALILEO, and GPRS/3G/3.5G connectivity. It is running on Windows Mobile 6.1 or Windows CE 5.0 OS.
The AIS RPDA37 ultra rugged PDA is equipped with a RS-232 port, two USB host ports, an Ethernet port, one CF card slot, one microSD card slot, and a headphones and microphone jack. Dimensions of AIS RPDA37 are 155x96x42 mm and weight 650g. No word on availability or pricing.
