Alcatel has announced release the new affordable phone, namely Alcatel One Touch XTRA. This handset is comes as a social networking phone and integrated access to Facebook and Twitter.

Alcatel One Touch XTRA will be exclusively available soon in the Orange UK for price tag £49.99 (about $76) on Pay As You Go (PAYG contract). The phone has features a 2.4-inch QVGA touchscreen display, full QWERTY keyboard, 3.5mm headset jack, a 2MP camera with video recording, MP3 player, Bluetooth, FM radio, and a microSD card slot. Alcatel One Touch XTRA Phone is support for GSM/EDGE connectivity but lack 3G/Wi-Fi connectivity.
