Alcatel OT-980 Smartphone [MWC 2010]
TCT Mobile, unit of TCL Chinese Company, has producing phones under the brand Alcatel and presented at Mobile World Congress 2010 the Alcatel OT-980 smartphone.
New Alcatel OT-980 is first time of detail appeared in early February. It is made in the slider form factor and is equipped with sliding QWERTY keyboard. Outwardly, it resembles Palm Pre.
The Alcatel OT-980 Smartphone is equipped with resistive touchscreen with a resolution of 320×240 pixels, 2-megapixel camera, GPS receiver, an accelerometer, 70 MB of integrated memory, a microSD memory card slot, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, as well as 1150 mAh battery (provides up to 400 hours of standby mode and up to 8 hours of talktime, up to 35 hours in music playback).
Alcatel OT-980 phone is boasts a 600MHz processor, and runs Android 1.6 OS. It supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800/1900 MHz, UMTS/HSDPA 900/2100 MHz networks.
Dimensions of Alcatel OT-980 are 112.5×60.4×15.9 mm. Alcatel OT-980 phone will be available in Italy, France, UK, and Spain. The cost of the Alcatel OT-980 smartphone does not exceed €200.
