For fans awaiting the launch of the Alcatel Xess 17 all-in-one PC, the wait is almost over as Alcatel has announced the Android-based AIO computer will launch on April 22nd, 2016. Company has also revealed detail of the price, it costs $499.
Alcatel Xess was made first unveiled back in September 2015 and showed off in February this year. Most selling point of Xess 17 is capable to act as a desktop computer, large tablet or media viewer. It also comes with a 9,600 mAh battery that lets users to carry the device. Although it has a 17.3-inch full HD touchscreen display.
New Alcatel Xess 17 all-in-one Android system packs a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. This machine is running on a custom Android operating system, which is called Phoenix OS. It offers a version of Android software that designed and tailored more like a desktop environment than a mobile operating system.
