The UK Company, Broadband Computer has released its new notebook, called Alex, oriented to novice users.

Alex Laptop is designed without complications, which is practical and a suite of simple. According to the manufacturer, Alex Notebook is extremely simple and requires no special skills, and automatically up-to-date applications, no maintenance, no anti-virus system to manage.

The Alex PC laptop is pre-installed operating system based on Linux kernel with specially optimized and simplified interface. Access to programs can be obtained in one click of a mouse, a special USB-key with an individual password for each family member can personalize their working environment, hide their personal files, etc.

Alex notebook is equipped with a 15.4-inch display, a 1.66GHz Intel Celeron T1600 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 120GB hard drive, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, a 1.3MP webcam, DVD writer, and a 6-cell battery.

It is bundled with subscription service updates and broadband Internet access. Alex Notebook is priced at $620.
