Altek T8680 camera phone, three-in-one device

Taiwan Company, Altek Corporation, an ODM producer of digital cameras and camera modules for mobile phones, they have introduced its first own-brand cameraphone, the Altek T8680.
According to manufacture, This T8680 is a three-in-one device, mobile phone, video recording functions, and camera digital. Talks about camera phone reminds of Sony Ericsson Satio.
Altek T8680 camera phone is equipped with 12.2-megapixel camera with 1/2.33-inch CCD image sensor. It supports 3x optical zoom, as well as 5x digital zoom. In addition, the Altek T8680 is equipped with flash and 3-inch touchscreen TFT LCD. Dimensions of Altek T8680 cameraphone are 113.5×52x16.55 mm and weight is 135g.
This camera phone will be on sale in the China and Taiwan market in September 2009 at a cost of 3,000 Yuan (US$439) and NT$14,000 (US$427) respectively. Information on this camera phone will be sold in other countries, it is not yet.
According to the information available, Altek Corporation plans in the future to produce exceptionally high quality mobile phones with cameras. The remaining segments, including the segment of smartphones, the company is not interested.
