AMD has expanded its line of graphics accelerator for workstations, the new model is ATI FirePro V8750. According to manufacture, ATI FirePro V8750 is the most powerful professional 3D Graphics accelerator, performance superior to competing solutions, four times.
ATI FirePro V8750 is equipped with 800 stream processors and 2GB of GDDR5 memory with a capacity of 115.2 GB/s. Supported programming interfaces; Microsoft DirectX 10.1 and OpenGL 3.0, as well as the technology of ATI CrossFire Pro System and Unified Video Decoder 2 (UVD 2) to provide hardware accelerated playback of high definition video. Maximum power consumption is equal to 154 Watts.
The ATI FirePro V8750 GPU is designed for installation in PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot; guaranteed compatibility with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Linux. To connect the display device, it provides two DisplayPort connector and Dual Link DVI-I.
