Now Available: Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Sony Xperia Z2, Z3, Z3 Compact

Owners of the Sony Xperia Z2, Z3 or Z3 Compact will be pleased to know that Sony Mobile has released the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for these handsets. The Android Marshmallow update for their Xperia Z2 and Z3 series have been released as an over the air update. You can be found the update for Xperia Z2 (D6503 only), Xperia Z3 (D6603 only) and Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803 only).

In fact, these smartphones were became part of the beta program. So, the final version of the firmware has – of course – the same build number (23.5.A.0.570). Just reminder, Japanese phone maker was rolling out Android Marshmallow update for Xperia Z5, Z5 Compact and the Z5 Premium last month. Sony has also plan to release the Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for their products including Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia M5, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia M4 Aqua and Xperia C4.
