Apacer Technology introduced a new internal universal card reader, AE700/701. It is equipped with USB 2.0 interface. Apacer AE700/701 is an interesting solution for desktop PCs. Apacer AE700 and AE701 Card Reader is differing in size. The gadget can be easily installed in the system unit and provides easy access to memory cards, providing performance and full compatibility. Novelty is equipped with six slots for memory cards and one USB 2.0 port. New internal card reader has supports almost all formats of cards on the market, including SDHC, MMC 4.x. In addition to these standards, the model also supports M2/microSDHC/xD/miniSDHC (connect adapter not required). Smart Tag Utility allows recognize a compatible format, schematically displaying separately each slot device.

The Apacer AE700 and AE701 have elongated size that allows consumers to choose the appropriate option, depending on the size of the system unit. In addition, the team’s designers of Apacer have developed two color schemes for the front of the chassis card reader; black and silver.

Card Reader connects to the internal USB connector, placed on the motherboard of personal computer. Apacer AE700/701 Card Reader is a convenient solution for reading, writing and exchanging data between different memory cards. It works with all operating systems of Microsoft, including Windows 98/98SE, 2000/ME/XP and Vista, as well as with Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
