Apple intros new iMac line with quad-core Core i5/i7 model

After many rumors and speculation of Apple, finally, they introduced a new line of its all-in-one computers, iMac. The updated series includes models with 21.5-inch and 27-inch widescreen display and full aluminum shells. It displays equipped with the new IPS panels with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and LED backlight, which guarantees the viewing angle of 178 degrees. The 21.5-inch iMac has a screen resolution of 1920×1080, while a 27-inch model resolution is 2560×1440 pixel.
The system of ports in the new iMac is the same as in the previous generation, added only a slot for SD cards, and video input for 27-inch computer. In addition, the wireless keyboard has now become standard. The cost of the new iMac line has not major changes, for example, the younger 21.5-inch model with an Intel Core 2 Duo 3.06 GHz CPU, a NVIDIA GeForce 9400M GPU, 4GB of RAM, and 500GB hard drive is cost of $1199.
At the same time, the cost of 27-inch configuration starts at $1699. In addition, there is a 27-inch iMac high-end, which will begin delivery in November at the price of $1999. This configuration includes an Intel Core i5 quad-core processor with a frequency of 2.06GHz and Radeon HD 4850 graphics. We note, incidentally, that the new iMac did not have Blu-ray optical drive.
The new 21.5-inch 3.06 GHz iMac, for retail price of $1,199 includes:
