Along with the presentation of updated Mac computers, Apple introduced a new wireless Mouse Magic Mouse, the successor model of Mighty Mouse. The new device does not have a scroll wheel and gives the impression nevertheless provides one button, it is actually the surface of the gadget itself, mainly through management based touch-sensitive surface to support multi-touch. This sensor is located above the surface and is made from solid acrylic fibers. Its multi-touch trackpad similar to the functionality of Mac computers and includes, for example, scrolling pages in horizontal and vertical direction.
Apple Magic Mouse connects to computer via Bluetooth and can work at a distance of 10 meters from the system. It is equipped with a laser sensor that provides accurate positioning and feeding device is powered by two AA standard batteries, which are enough for about four months of work. In addition, in order to conserve battery power, Magic Mouse is equipped with additional power management, automatically transforming the device into economy mode when not in use.
Apple Magic Mouse has become the world’s first computer mouse with multi-touch functionality. It will be delivered with the new iMac computers and costs $69.
