Apple without fanfare has released an updated version of its device called Time Capsule. Recall, Apple Time Capsule is a combination of a network drive and AirPort Extreme base station in one compact device. It allows user to wirelessly back up and protect data stored on a desktop computer or Mac laptop.
The capacity of a new Apple Time Capsule model is 2TB, double space from previous model. In doing so, the cost of configuration with a capacity of 1TB is reduced to $299, while the price of 2TB is installed on the mark in $499. In addition, the new Apple Time Capsule allows user to work simultaneously in dual bands in Wi-Fi, as well as the ability to create separate network resources, such as guest accounts with limited access to the Internet.
