Along with the new iPod portable media players, Apple has officially announced a new Apple TV, which is 80 percent smaller than its predecessor.
New Apple TV has built storage and allows user to play multimedia content (e.g., 720HD video) online. To connect to the Internet, Apple TV is provides Ethernet LAN and Wi-Fi 802.11n. In addition, the Apple TV can broadcast videos from laptops and Apple handheld gadgets.
Users of Apple TV will be able to online selection of HD TV show episodes such as ABC, ABC Family, Fox, Disney Channel and BBC America for just 99 cents. It also rent thousands of commercial free, HD TV episodes on iTunes for just 99 cents. The new Apple TV is also supported online service such as Netflix, YouTube, Flickr and MobileMe.
The Apple TV is equipped with HDMI and USB connection, as well as optical audio output. It is bundled with a seven-button aluminum Apple Remote Control for easily navigates. Users is enabling full control Apple TV with iPhone, iPad or iPod touch using the Remote app that available as a free download on the App Store^.
