Apple unveils iPod touch 4G with dual camera

Together with the iPod Shuffle player, Apple has just introduced new iPod touch that is fourth generation of its media player.

As expected, the new iPod touch has common specs with the iPhone 4 smartphone, it is also packs a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with support multitouch and 640 x 960 pixels (Retina display), but it is based on a 1GHz Apple A4 processor.

The main feature of new iPod Touch is the existence of two cameras. The first, it is located on the front panel, which allows users to take pictures and videos with resolution of 640 x 480 pixels (VGA). Second, the camera is located on the back of the device, which takes pictures with a resolution of 960 x 720 pixels and record 720p HD video format.

New iPod touch 4G player is sports FaceTime video calling function, which allows making video calls on the Wi-Fi connection. There is Bluetooth 2.1 EDR and up to 40 hours of music playback, up to 7 hours in video playback. The thickness of the iPod touch 4G does not exceed 7.2 mm.

The cost of iPod touch 4G player with 8GB, 32GB, and 64GB version is $229, $299 and $399 respectively.
