Apple updated MacBook Pro Family
Apple introduced updated lines of MacBook Pro, which now includes not only the 15″ and 17″ model, but 13″ version. New laptops are displays with an LED-backlit display, trackpad to multi-touch support, an SD card or ExpressCard slot, and FireWire 800 port. Interestingly, the ExpressCard slot in the 15-inch model has been replaced with a slot for SD card, and ExpressCard is only 17-inch model.
They use integrated graphics and discrete NVIDIA graphics. In addition, the new MacBook Pro can work without recharging the battery to 40% longer than the previous MacBook Pro generation. Additionally, they comply with environmental standards of EPEAT Gold and Energy Star 5.0: do not contain mercury, arsenic, differ sufficiently low energy and material to be processed.
All new MacBook Pro, you can optionally set up to 8 GB of RAM, up to 500 GB HDD or up to 256 GB SSD. And MacBook Pro 15″ and 17″ have supports processors with a clock speed of up to 3 GHz.
With all these specifications, the cost of new MacBook Pro has declined. It starts from $ 1199 for 13-inch model in a minimal configuration. The best 17-inch model has costs $ 2499 and for $ 300 less than before. Apart MacBook Pro, Apple also updated the thinnest MacBook Air laptop. It is available in two versions: with a 1.86 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 120 GB hard drive and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics card for $ 1499, and 2.13 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 128 GB SSD and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics card for $ 1799.
