Russia Company, Aquarius introduced its netbook/tablet PC, NS409 with rotary touchscreen display. It is designed for school children.
According to source, its device is build based on experts participated; designers, teachers and psychologists. Also Aquarius NS409 is equipped with special software that provides opportunities for collaboration, as well as an additional means of control in the class assignments.
Aquarius NS409 has brings a 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU, 1GB of RAM and storage based on flash memory, capacity of which is not specified. Its display is 8.9-inch touch screen display with resolution of 1024×600 pixels, while the top panel netbook can be folded up for display, use the device as a tablet PC.
Aquarius NS409 netbook has two USB 2.0 port, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, multi-format card reader, and a webcam with motion sensor automatically select the correct orientation. Its keyboard has waterproof to eliminate the ingress of liquid on the electronic components of the device.
Dimensions of Aquarius NS409 are 241x215x26 mm and weight is about 1.25 kg. The battery has provides four hours of autonomous work but with high-capacity battery has provides up to six hours. The cost of Aquarius NS409 is not reported.
