The French company, Archos has quietly released a new Android tablet, the Archos 48 Internet Tablet. The new gadget is running on Android 1.6 Donut OS.

The Archos 48 Internet Tablet is basically simply version of the Archos 5 Internet Tablet, which is lack GPS. In addition, the price of Archos 48 tablet is $299 that $150 cheaper than the Archos 5 tablet. You can also get a 500GB hard drive.

Archos 48 Internet Tablet has brings a 4.8-inch touchscreen TFT LCD display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0, FM radio, FM transmitter, 256MB RAM, and more. New Archos 48 is boasts an 800MHz processor and enabling 720p HD video playback.
