Archos reported in one of its events that its 5-inch multimedia Internet tablet will go on sale September 15th. This device is running an Android operating system.
Its features touchscreen display with a diagonal of 5-inch, TI OMAP3440 Processor, up to 500 GB of memory, support HSUPA, and the Flash video standard. In addition, Archos Internet Media Tablet (IMT) can play high definition video and record in digital broadcasting DVB-SH standard. In offline mode when playing video, 5-inch Archos Internet Media Tablet can work out for 7 hours.
Interestingly, the Archos Android-based will be the same time with the older model, Archos 9 is running Windows. In addition, the company reported that prepares the device that runs Android has phone functionality. But it would be mobile internet device (MID) supporting phone or Smartphone, it is not yet known.
