The Archos tablet is now listed for pre-order on J&R with priced just $159.99. The gadget is known as the Archos Arnova 8 tablet that offers as a budget machine.

The Archos Arnova 8 tablet is runs Google Android 2.1 OS Eclair and packs a 8-inch resistive touchscreen TFT LCD display with maintain 800 x 600 pixel, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g. New Arnova 8 budget tablet is equipped with USB 2.0 port, microSD card slot, speakers, microphone, and a Lithium Polymer battery for up to 5.5 hours of video playback, up to 25 hours in music playback.

Archos Arnova 8 is also support for 720p HD video playback. Dimensions of Archos Arnova 8 are 205 x 153 x 12 mm and weight 350 grams.
