Arctic MC001-XBMC Linux-based computer with an open source media center

Supporting the XBMC Media Center application, the Arctic MC001-XBMC is now available for only $229. This Linux-based small form-factor desktop computer comes with OpenELEC 3.0 and XBMC 12 software. That feature is allows users turn the device act as a pretty decent media center, just plug into a television. Moreover, this Arctic Linux PC ships with a wireless infrared remote control that enabling navigate media playback.

Arctic MC001-XBMC tiny PC boasts a 1.8GHz Intel Atom D525 processor along with 512MB Radeon HD 5430 graphics and 2GB of RAM. To storing your favorite movies or music, even other contents, this tiny Linux PC provides and a 1TB hard drive with 5400RPM spindle speed.

In connectivity term, the Arctic MC001-XBMC delivers VGA, HDMI, SPDIF, Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, five USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack. Furthermore, there are a media card reader, a 24x DVD-RW drive, and Wi-Fi 802.11n.
