ASUS presented a new series of graphics card, EAH4890. These models are Asus EAH4890/HTDI/1GD5 and Asus EAH4890 TOP/HTDI/1GD5. As stated, this is the first in the world of video cards equipped with the Voltage Tweak technology, allowing users with a special program SmartDoctor raise the voltage applied to the graphics chip. Thus, we can increase the graphics performance of up to 15% compared with the reference solution.
So far, released two new series of graphics cards based on the recently submitted video card ATI Radeon HD 4890. Each is equipped with gigabytes of memory GDDR5 with a 256 bit interface, has a bus connection of PCI Express 2.0, two ports DVI and HDMI interface support, and D-Sub via special adapters. That’s distinguished these two graphics accelerator only their operating frequency. If the model has EAH4890/HTDI/1GD5 clock frequency of 850MHz to 950MHz for GPU and 3900MHz to 4600MHz for memory clock, respectively, then the version EAH4890 TOP/HTDI/1GD5 similar figures were 900MHz and 4000MHz.
