Asus Eee 1004DN Netbook with Super-Multi DVD burner
Mar 30, 2009 Laptop
Last week questioned whether Asus would launch a netbook with an optical drive. Asus launches, at last, its Eee PC 1004DN’s already talked to early this month.
It has passed the FCC tests and can be seen throughout its expander, leaving in doubt whether this was just a prototype. Come with an Atom N280 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 120GB hard drive, Integrated GMA4500 integrated graphics, Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11 WiFi-n, a 10-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 × 600 pixels and clear, a drive recorder DVD.
Asus is trying to expand its range of netbooks all you can, touching all the points possible, from those who only need look at the mail and more, small screen, SSD and low memory characteristics, to which you will use it as portable and requires more main screen, hard disk with more capacity than a few gigs and the ability to play high-definition video.
I do not understand very well if someone uses a CD as much need for a netbook within, but at least, despite its screen resolution, it is capable of playing video in 720p.
