ASUS has introduced its Eee Box mini-desktop PC family, called ASUS Eee Box 1501.

The ASUS Eee Box 1501 nettop will be available in colors of white and black.

ASUS Eee Box 1501 nettop is based on an Intel Atom processor 330 dual-core with a clock speed of 1.6GHz and nVidia Ion platform. It is integrated GeForce 9400M GPU with support for DirectX 10 API, which provides work with high-definition video.

New ASUS Eee Box 1501 mini-desktop has up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM (2GB is the standard), a 250GB 2.5-inch SATA hard drive. ASUS Eee Box 1501 is equipped with a built-in DVD drive, that rarity in other nettop. ASUS Eee Box 1501 also has a Wi-Fi with support for 802.11n.

Dimensions of ASUS Eee Box 1501 are 193x193x39 mm. It is running on Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. Price of ASUS Eee Box 1501 mini-desktop is £340 (about $567/€372).
