ASUS Eee Box will launch Celeron processor for Lower costs

And beginning to reach the wave of news that refer to the CES 2009. This time it is the people of ASUS, who is planning to launch its Eee Box with Celeron processors to cut costs (currently possess an Intel Atom N270).

This was supposedly due to the nettops of the company that marked a turning point in terms of the laptops are really low and, of course, ASUS wants to give a boost to falling product prices.

The new EES will Box 220, a 1.2GHz Celeron processor with a 120GB hard drive and a 19-inch LCD monitor. According to reports, this is not confirmed yet, the basic version will cost US$ 239 while the “deluxe” will be U.S. $ 355.
