The sequel to the original Transformer aka Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime is currently listed for pre-order in the USA at Amazon.
There are two models that available for customer’s choice. The one is 32GB of built storage (TF201-B1-GR), while the other is 64GB of internal space (TF201-C1-GR). The price of Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime tablet is $499.99 and $599.99, respectively. It is comes in two color options – Amethyst Gray and Champagne.
Besides that, Asus has also published its new tablet at official website and briefly the full list of Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime tech specs. This tablet would be the first quad-core tablet to have Nvidia’s Kal-El Tegra 3 processor.
Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime Specifications
The Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime has 1GB RAM and along with 1 year unlimited cloud based storage from ASUS WebStorage. New Transformer Prime tablet is packs a 10.1-inch Super IPS+ display with 1280 x 800 resolutions, 10-finger multitouch support, and covered by Corning’s Gorilla Glass.
As camera, Asus new tablet is brings a rear-facing 8 megapixel camera with flash (a large F2.4 aperture) also and a 1.2MP front camera with increased shutter speeds.
There are standard feature on most tablets including micro HDMI, a 2-in-1 audio jack, internal microphone, Micro SD card reader, Gyroscope, G-Sensor, E-compass, Light Sensor, and GPS. The dock for Transformer Prime is delivers an additional single USB 2.0 and a full size card reader.
