Asus has just announced its new ultraportable, the Asus Eee 1000HE, with a fairly simple design but has some nice features.

It has a backlit screen 10-inch by LEDs and an Intel Atom N280 processor at 1.66 GHz, plus 160GB of Harddisk. Speaking of connectivity, underlines its WiFi, Bluetooth and a battery that offers up to 9.5 hours.

For now only available in the U.S., but when it comes to Europe, with a weight of 1.4 kg is an approximate price of 314 euros.
