ASUS Eee PC 1001PQ netbook for Kids [CeBIT 2010]
Asus has introduced its special netbook for kids at CeBIT 2010, called ASUS Eee PC 1001PQ. Its exterior is seems ASUS Eee PC 1005HA with paint but on the inside there is a customized Windows desktop with kid centric apps. According to manufacture, it is a kid’s suitable games and application Magic desktop, kids-friendly browser and parental-control access for web-safe, and easy to set up.
Asus Eee PC 1001PQ comes in two models: yellow/black (with yellow palm rest) and black/purple (with a floral pattern on the display-lid and palm rest).
The ASUS Eee PC 1001PQ netbook for the kiddies has features 10.1-inch LED Backlight glossy display with 1024×600 resolutions (WSVGA), 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, a SD/MMC card reader, VGA, audio jack, Ethernet, three USB 2.0 ports, and 6-cell 48Wh Li-ion battery with provides up to 11 hours of use.
The ASUS Eee PC 1001PQ netbook is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, a GMA 3150 graphics, an Intel NM10 Express chipset, 1GB of DDR2 memory, and a 160GB SATA hard drive.
Dimensions of Asus Eee PC 1001PQ are 259 x 175.26 x 22.6-35.5 mm and weight 1.27 kg.
