ASUS Eee PC 1002HAE, new thin netbook in aluminum chassis

ASUS presented a new netbook in Japan, Eee PC 1002HAE. The basis of this model on Eee PC 1002HA netbook, however, the novelty cover in the aluminum case and it is based on Intel Atom N280 processor with a clock speed of 1.66 GHz.
Otherwise, the characteristics of Eee PC 1002HAE remained unchanged. Among them is 10-inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels, 1 GB of RAM, 160 GB HDD, 1.3 MP web-camera, wireless Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. Netbook equipped with a lithium-polymer battery that provides up to 3.8 hours of autonomous work. Weight Eee PC 1002HAE is 1.2 kg, while the base model was heavier than less 1.45 kg. New proposed are red, blue and black colors.
Sales ASUS Eee PC 1002HAE in Japan to start May 16. The cost of the device will be 49,800 yen (around $ 506). It is quite possible, then netbook appear in other regions, but while this is not known.
