It became known that ASUS plans to release a new Eee PC 1005HA netbook. Obviously, this is an analogue of the recently introduced lightest and thinnest 10-inch Eee PC 1008HA Seashell netbook, but with a removable battery. Model Eee PC 1008HA is equipped with integrated 4-cell lithium-polymer battery. The inability to replace the battery has already led to a number of negative feedback from potential user’s netbook. Eee PC 1005HA, rumored to be a removable 6-cell lithium-polymer removable battery.
The main characteristics of ASUS Eee PC 1005HA will be similar to Eee PC 1008HA. Among them are Intel Atom N280 processor, 1 GB of RAM, 160 GB hard disk drive and 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. However, it has several new heavier predecessors and weighs 1.4 kg. Some retailers are already taking orders for the model of ASUS Eee PC 1005HA, Home deliveries are expected in the coming months. Its cost would be around 350-400 euro.
