ASUS has expanded its two Seashell family of Eee PC netbooks, they are ASUS Eee PC 1005HR and 1005HE. Both netbooks are use an Intel Atom N280 processor with a clock speed of 1.66 GHz, 1GB RAM, 10/100 Ethernet, Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1, three USB port, as well as 0.3-megapixel webcam. Their battery is 6-cell battery and provides to be good for 8.4 hours.
Asus Eee PC 1005HR netbook is equipped with 250GB hard disk drive and a 10.1-inch HD display with resolution of 1366×768 pixels. ASUS Eee PC 1005HE also has a diagonal of 10.1-inch, but its resolution does not exceed 1024×600 pixels.
ASUS Eee PC 1005HR and 1005HE netbooks will be supplied with Windows 7 OS. They will go on sale in the middle of next month. Cost of ASUS Eee PC 1005HR is about $580 and ASUS Eee PC 1005HE netbook can be purchased for an estimated price of $490 and $515 for the configuration to hard drive capacity on the 160GB and 250GB respectively. There is no information about availability these netbook is appearing in North America or Europe.
