ASUSTeK Computer has introduced its netbook, called Asus Eee PC 1008KR. This Pine Trail Netbook is designed by Karim Rashid. The Asus Eee PC 1008KR netbook has decorated the bottom of a baking sheet and 3D geometric design like a ripple. It comes in two color options (brown and pink).
The Asus Eee PC 1008KR netbook is boasts a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 CPU, integrated graphics, 2GB of RAM, Intel NM10 Express chipset, and a 320GB hard drive. It has brings a 10.1-inch widescreen TFT LCD display with 1024×600 resolution and 3-cell battery with enabling up to 5 hours of use.
Asus Eee PC 1008KR is equipped with SD/SDHC/MMC media card reader, two USB 2.0 port, D-Sub, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Ethernet port, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, and Webcam. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium (32bit). Size of Asus Eee PC 1008KR netbook is 262x180x18~26.2 mm (WxDxH) and weighs 1.1kg.
Karim Rashid’s design Asus Eee PC 1008KR netbook will be available in Japan on March 13rd, 2010 for 59,800 yen.
